Description:
Evergreen, tall shrub to small tree with beautiful cinnamon-red bark, peeling in season. A faster grower than A. unedo. Lily of the valley shaped flowers in spring hang in clusters - does not produce fruit being a sterile hybrid. Leaves are usually smooth-edged. Will grow in a wide range of soil types and climatic regions. Once established very drought tolerant. Full sun but will tolerate some shade.
