Description:
All the great shade and colour features of the regular Pin Oak but this Freefall or EDF (early defoliating) variety drops Autumn foliage much faster and earlier. In comparison the Quercus Palustris will hold Autumn foliage long into Winter. Deciduous large tree and a wonderful option for Autumn colour. Popular shade and parkland tree. Deeply cut shining green leaves, turning rich scarlet in autumn. Hardy tree once established, tolerating dry conditions and full sun. Pest resistant, vigorous growth approximately 45cm per year. Broad pyramidal becoming rounded in age.
