Description:
Dogwoods area a deciduous small tree often used as a garden statement. The kousa produces creamy-white flowers that blanket the tree in Spring. Broad wavy edged leaves are crimson bronze in autumn. The flowers are quite large with four distinct petals that stand tall on the branch. In Summer the rich green foliage is accented by pinkish strawberry fruits that are attractive to birds . Dislikes shallow soils. One of the hardier dogwoods.
